INTRODUCTION NARRATOR TWO There are many myths and legends surrounding the infamous Pirates of the Vinawalk. The dreaded pork pie incident of 1997, the fruity waiter conundrum at the turn of the millennium, and more recently, the curse of the black coffee. Yet when order and justice and convenient shopping returned to the Vinawalk along with fancy varieties of coffee, order and justice could not defeat the nefarious pirates so easily Oh no, the pirates endured, as those whose deeds threaten the safety and prosperity and brightly coloured buildings of all free folk tend to do. This, my gentle listeners, is the tale of the Dead Man’s Vest. And the tale started ordinarily enough, when the pirates were enjoying their ill-gotten gains on the beach in Enoshima. CUT TO: |
